Vietnamese Spicy Beef Noodle Soup Recipe
Servings: 8 bowls. Please note if you want to make less make sure you just use less for meat toppings but the broth ingredients if it’s less bone it won’t be good.
-1 lbs of oxtail bone
-1 lbs of pig feet bone
-3 slides of ginger
Instructions: Steam cook all the bone first then pressure cook all the ingredients above in the pressure cook for 45 mins.
Meat toppings ingredients
-Pinch of salt
-You can use beef shrank or 1 pack of beef with some fat in between.
-3 tablespoon of chopped garlic
-2 tablespoon of chopped shallot
-2 teaspoon of mushroom seasoning
-2 tablespoon of fish sauce
-1 teaspoon of red chili powder
-3 teaspoon of black pepper
-1/4 cup of chopped lemongrass.
-2 teaspoon of sugar
-6 shrimps- Grind it to paste form and add to the broth when it boil.
-Pressure Cook the meat for 30 minutes.
-Slide cut them and marinate the meat with all the spice ingredients above. Marinade meat for 15 mins then add all of them to the broth.
Noodles: i used rice noodles and cook them based on the instruction based on the package.
Side vegetables: Water spinach and mint or any kind to your liking. Add some hint of lemon
Sauce: Fish Sauce with some sate’
